Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the state of Maine.
• BCLS and ALS certification at hire and maintained thereafter.
• Five (5) years of acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports clinical and administrative responsibilities for the department.
• Onboards, orients, and trains staff; acts as preceptor as needed.
• Oversees clinical performance and provides feedback and conflict resolution.
• Provides direct patient care during volume surges or staffing needs.
• Collaborates with leadership on patient flow, complaints, and rounds.
• Participates in performance improvement activities including chart reviews.
