Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison for Obesity and Related Conditions in Winston‑Salem, NC. You will serve as the primary scientific resource to physicians, investigators, and healthcare decision makers, delivering balanced, evidence-based information to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires advanced medical qualifications and experience in Medical Affairs, with responsibility for field activities, data dissemination, and collaboration with internal teams under MSL leadership.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required; or Master’s degree with 3+ years Medical Affairs experience; or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and other healthcare providers; execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy under MSL leadership.
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites to support the obesity pipeline; communicate scientific data of clinical value and outcomes.
• Lead and participate in congress activities; support speaker training; ensure compliant, balanced data exchange and field observations.
