Job summary

Amgen in San Francisco is seeking a Medical Science Liaison focused on obesity and related conditions. This field-based role serves as the primary scientific resource to OLs, PHDMs, and healthcare providers, executing Amgen's medical strategy under MSL leadership in the U.S.

Medical team. You will build strong external partnerships, support sponsored research, share data, and participate in congress activities, with a focus on cardiometabolic diseases.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent with Medical Affairs experience.
• Master’s degree plus 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with OLs and PHDMs to discuss scientific data.
• Support obesity and related conditions pipeline with investigators.
• Communicate clinical and economic data to healthcare providers.
• Lead and participate in congress activities aligned with strategy.
• Provide and present field observations to internal teams.
