Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for Obesity covering OR, ID, MT, WY, WA with a field-based role in the U.S. Medical team.

You will serve as a primary scientific resource to Opinion Leaders and healthcare providers, delivering balanced data and supporting the obesity pipeline. You will engage investigators, communicate outcomes, support sponsored research, and participate in congress activities while staying compliant with MSL standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and ability to translate scientific data for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including investigators and health care professionals.
• Experience in Medical Affairs or pharmaceutical industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific resource to OLs, PHDMs and healthcare providers in obesity.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy under MSL leadership.
• Lead scientific exchanges, discuss data, and support sponsored research when applicable.
• Coordinate with field teams to expand access and education for patients and providers.
