Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Obesity covering OR, ID, MT, WY, WA with Cheyenne, Wyoming as a primary location. You will support OLs and healthcare providers, communicate scientific data, and advance the obesity pipeline in collaboration with the Medical Affairs team.

The role demands scientific depth, strong communication, and cross-functional teamwork to drive patient outcomes and Amgen’s strategic goals in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree.
• Or Master’s degree and 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Or Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. (other doctoral degrees considered)
• Current experience in Scientific Affairs or Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company

Responsibilities

• Act as primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders (OLs) and other healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy led by MSL leadership.
• Support congress activities and speaker trainings as needed.
• Lead project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics.
