Job summary

Amgen seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison to support obesity therapy across the OR, ID, MT, WY, and WA regions. The role focuses on scientific exchange with Opinion Leaders and healthcare decision makers to advance patient outcomes.

You will collaborate with internal teams, engage investigators, and contribute to research efforts while maintaining compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required or equivalent.
• Master’s degree with 3 years Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years Medical Affairs experience.
• Preferred: Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O.
• Experience in biotech/pharmaceutical Medical Affairs.
• Cardiometabolic and/or Obesity expertise preferred.
• Experience with the designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.
• Engage with investigators and sites to support the obesity pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data to stakeholders and institutions.
• Support Amgen sponsored research and may lead studies.
• Lead congress activities and speaker training.
