Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Orange County is seeking certified scrub techs with L&D experience to join a growing team. The role supports antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care with opportunities to participate in groundbreaking fetal interventions.

The position requires call shifts and involvement in a new Special Delivery Unit opening Fall 2026, delivering high-quality, family-centered care within a dynamic obstetric team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; Graduate of Surgical Technology program or military service training.
• College coursework with Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to relate and communicate in English professionally; follow policies; work under pressure with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating room and delivery room as needed, within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care.
• Support in new Special Delivery Unit setup and operations, including the SDU workflow.
