Job summary

Advocate Health, at Advocate Condell Medical Center - Obstetrics/Gynecology, seeks a Full-Time Nurse Aide for obstetric support. You will assist with deliveries, scrubbing and instrument handling, and help prepare the OR and patient areas for procedures.

Role requires completion of a Nursing Assistant program and CN Aide registration. BLS is required within 6 months, with emphasis on teamwork, safety, and patient comfort in a high-acuity obstetric setting.

Qualifications

• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry, and
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 6 months as required.
• Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with obstetrical procedures and maintain sterile setups.
• Scrub for obstetric procedures and pass instruments and supplies.
• Assist delivery procedures and prepare area per provider preference.
• Support patient daily living activities and comfort needs.
• Serve as a resource for training staff on equipment and procedures.
