Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an OB Technician for the Labor and Delivery unit. This full-time night shift (6p-6a) offers a competitive compensation range and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will assist with patient care under a Registered Nurse, handle birth certificates and declarations of paternity, and complete required training such as BLS and approved nursing assistant programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS Certification within 30 days and maintain current.
• Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, EMT, ROP, Paramedic Training Program, Certified Surgical Scrub Technician or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under RN supervision in LDRP.
• Handle birth certificates and Declaration of Paternity forms.
• Provide direct care to patients of various ages as assigned.
• Coordinate with physicians and hospital staff to support unit operations.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent
