Job summary

Mercy Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks an OB Technician to support obstetric and newborn care. Under nursing and medical staff, you perform clinical procedures, clerical tasks, and basic surgical assistance as part of the care team.

This non-certified technologist role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and surgical technology experience. You will work nights and weekends, possibly on-call, and help with ADLs, patient transport, and birth documentation while upholding Mercy

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or GED required; non-certified technologist role.
• Completed surgical tech program possible but CST not required or active.
• Proof of education may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care support under Nursing and Medical Staff.
• Assist in clerical tasks, patient records, and transport.
• Support newborns, childbirth, postpartum, and pediatric patients as assigned.
• Perform designated clinical procedures and surgical assistance as needed.
