Mercy Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking an OB Technician to support obstetric care during nights, holidays, and weekends. The role combines patient care, basic clinical tasks, and non-clinical support under nursing and medical staff, with emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and surgical tech experience or unit competency.

Qualificações

• High-School Diploma or GED required; non-certified technologist position.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Surgical Technology experience or unit competency within hire timeframe as determined by department leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care, clerical support, and surgical assistance as part of obstetric care team.
• Support nursing staff and patients with ADLs for obstetric patients and newborns.
• Manage patient records, bed control and turnover, patient registration, charge capture, and supplies; assist with phlebotomy and specimen transport.
