Qualifications

• Education: High-School Diploma or GED is required.
• Non-certified technologist position; CST certification not active.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Surgical Technology experience required at hire or completion of a unit-based competency within an agreed timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, clerical support, and surgical assistance under supervision.
• Works cooperatively with others as part of a team and supports unit goals.
• Perform clinical procedures and non-clinical tasks essential to patient care.
• Assist with patient records, bed control, turnover, registration, charge capture, and supply management.
• Support obstetrical patients including newborns, childbearing and postpartum care, pediatric patients, and others.
• Maintain calm and effective response during obstetrical emergencies.
