Job summary

Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, MO, seeks an Obstetrical Technician to support Labor & Delivery, NICU, and Mother/Baby units. Under RN supervision, you provide patient care, assist with surgical scrub for Cesarean sections, and help maintain unit readiness and safety in a high-acuity environment.

The role emphasizes flexibility across shifts, on-call responsiveness within 30 minutes, and collaboration with the Women’s Health and Newborn Care team to ensure smooth delivery workflows

Qualifications

• Certification/licensure as surgical tech or nurse required per posting.
• Experience with perinatal, neonatal, or gynecologic populations preferred.
• Ability to operate under RN direction and support multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Functions within scope of practice based on certification/licensure.
• Works under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Adjusts daily responsibilities based on unit acuity and shift plan.
• Maintains readiness to pivot across service areas as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
