Job summary

Tidelands Health in Murrells Inlet, SC seeks an OB Scrub Technologist to support Labor & Delivery, Nursery and nursing units. You will assist surgeons, prepare the operating room, and ensure supplies are ready for procedures.

The role requires a Surgical Technologist certification (NBSTSA) or military training, a high school diploma, and ongoing CE. You will work with nurses and the Circulator to provide safe, patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and NBSTSA Surgical Technologist certification or equivalent military training.
• Completion of 15 hours of continuing education annually to remain qualified for employment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepares patient charts and outpatient packets.
• Keep nursing staff notified of changes.
• Ensure Nursery, PPE cabinets and daily linen supplies are available for staff.
• Assist with toileting and feeding patients as directed by RN.
• Assist the Circulator in proper patient positioning.
• Demonstrate proper scrub/sterile techniques.
• Follow proper etiquette when answering phones.
