Job summary

Mercy is seeking a certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join the obstetric care team in Springfield, MO. You will assist in operating room procedures, provide patient care, and support nursing staff throughout the patient journey from admission to discharge.

Qualifications

• High-School diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist Program required.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and clerical support for OB patients.
• Assist in surgical procedures and external patient care tasks.
• Maintain patient records, bed control, and turnover.
• Transport specimens and patients as needed; phlebotomy duties.
• Support nursing team and newborn/postpartum patients as assigned.
