Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking an OB Technician to assist in labor, delivery and recovery, and to support the operating room with obstetrics procedures. The role involves preparing patient rooms, supplying instruments, and ensuring timely turnover of patient areas.

The position supports nursing staff during deliveries, assists with patient transport and discharge, and collects specimens as needed. BLS is required; Surgical Technician certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparation of patient rooms.
• Assists the surgical team during operative procedures, providing needed supplies and instruments in a timely manner.
• Assist nursing staff in deliveries as directed by nurse: preparation, positioning, transports, transfer and discharge of patient.
• Collects urinalysis (UA) specimens.
• Prepares, positions, transports, transfers and discharges patient.

Education
