Job summary

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist (CST) for our busy Labor & Birth unit. This full-time night position supports patient care, clinical procedures, sterile processing, and patient transport as part of a dedicated team in a high-energy obstetrics environment.

You will work under Nursing and Medical Staff direction, performing a wide range of duties from clinical to clerical support while maintaining Mercy Service Standards. Certification and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or GED required; CST position.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist Program per NBSTSA required; maintain certification.
• BLS and CST certification required.
• English proficiency required.
• New graduate to experienced CST in surgical settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional accountability and provide technical support for patient care in OB unit.
• Assist in operative events and non-clinical support tasks including patient records and transport.
• Provide supportive care and assistance with ADLs to obstetric patients and newborns.
• May be required to take call and work in a high-paced obstetrics environment.
