Job summary

UH Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join the Labor & Delivery team for a full-time night shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM). You will prepare instruments, maintain sterile technique, and support surgeons throughout procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds CST credentials from a CAAHEP-accredited program, current BLS certification, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Certification as CST from a CAAHEP-accredited program.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Gather, prepare, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Adhere to surgical asepsis to promote patient safety.
• Anticipate the surgeon’s needs with precision and efficiency in the OR.
• Scrub in on a wide range of surgical procedures and adapt to changing situations.
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team in time-sensitive environments.
