Job summary

MultiCare Capital Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Tech OB to assist during C-sections and prepare the surgical suite. You will also clean and sterilize instruments and ensure labor and delivery rooms are stocked, while supporting Labor and Delivery nurses as needed.

The ideal candidate has Surgical Technologist registration and a current BLS certification, with at least one year of OB or OR experience preferred, in a night shift landscape with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist registration within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum one year of OB or OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon during C-sections and ensure the surgical suite is prepared for C-sections.
• Clean, wrap and send instruments to Central Service for sterilization and stock labor/delivery rooms; support Labor and Delivery nurses.
