Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an OB Surgical Tech for a 13-week contract in Lynwood, CA. You will assist in obstetric surgical procedures, ensure sterile field, and collaborate with the surgical team to maintain patient safety.

Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining sterile field, handling instruments and specimens, confirming equipment readiness, and communicating clearly with the team to optimize patient care. Current CST certification and required vaccinations are needed.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist.
• Completion of Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
• Immunizations: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB test, Tdap, Varicella.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team with instruments and supplies as needed.
• Ensure operating room equipment is functioning properly prior to procedures.
• Handle specimens submitted for pathology.
• Communicate effectively with team members to optimize patient care.
