Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training.
• Maintains BCLS and other certifications required by the job.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patients' plans of care through shift-to-shift communication.
• Assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, plan, implement and evaluate the care plan.
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Follow chain of command and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and sound clinical judgment.
