Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in the Labor and Delivery Unit 1 in Columbus, OH. The RN is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within a 24/7 operation.

The role requires an Ohio RN license (or multi-state compact), BLS certification, and a BSN is preferred with at least 5 years of employment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• BLS certification required.
• Current RN license in Ohio or multi-state compact.
• BSN preferred with 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Develop and document care plans with expected outcomes.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives.
