Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in our Obstetrics Unit 1 for a day shift. You will provide general nursing care and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care across the continuum of obstetric services.

The RN is accountable for nursing practice per the Ohio Board of Nursing, with duties including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and enabling outcomes through collaboration with LPNs and UAPs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in Ohio (or multi-state compact).
• BLS certification; BSN preferred at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and plan patient care for obstetric patients.
• Provide professional nursing care and coordinate with licensed staff and UAPs.
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate care plans; ensure safety and quality standards.
• Participate in process improvement and maintain compliance with nursing practice acts.
• Provide 24/7/365 care as part of the obstetrics unit team.
