Job summary

Wood County Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the OB unit on the night shift. The role emphasizes evidence-based assessment, patient education, and collaborative care within an onsite hospital setting.

The RN must hold an Ohio license at hire, with required certifications (BLS/ACLS within 90 days; PALS within 90 days; NRP OB). BSN preferred; two years of clinical experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio at time of hire.
• Diploma in Nursing or ADN from an accredited school.
• BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire; PALS within 90 days; NRP within 90 days (OB).
• BSN degree preferred; two years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, detailed patient records.
• Educate patients and families from admission to discharge.
• Collaborate with health care providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support safety culture and adherence to policies.
• Perform duties per unit needs and transfer requests.
