Job summary

TriHealth Good Sam Hospital in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Advanced OB Unit on a part-time night shift. You will provide direct and indirect obstetric care, support mothers and infants through labor, delivery, and postpartum, and collaborate with physicians and the health care team to ensure evidence-based, patient-centered outcomes.

The role requires an Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma, RN licensure, and BLS/CPR; a BSN within five years is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• 2 Years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Registered Nurse licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and document findings.
• Develop and implement care plans with the care team and discharge planning.
• Ensure safe, therapeutic environment and patient advocacy throughout care.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy and evaluate outcomes.
• Educate patients and families and role-model nursing best practices.
