Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students across classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings. The instructor fosters a positive learning environment, guides students in developing knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors essential for nursing practice.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, is a licensed RN in the applicable state, and brings at least 3 years of RN experience

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to taught courses and clinicals.
• Experience contributing to student learning in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a positive learning environment and evaluate student performance.
• Deliver instruction appropriate to the students' level and needs.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress documentation.
