Job summary

University Hospitals in Ohio seeks a Nurse Educator to lead onboarding, orientation, and competency programs across nursing and allied staff. You will collaborate with clinical education teams to advance evidence-based practice and professional development.

Qualifications

BSN required and RN licensure in Ohio/Multi-State Compact.
MSN preferred; Master’s for Level 4 NICU/Labor & Delivery required.
Strong presentation skills and ability to travel across system facilities.

Responsibilities

Participate in onboarding and orientation programs for nursing, UAPs, and students.
Develop, coordinate, manage, and evaluate competency and continuing education activities.
Collaborate with inter-professional teams to improve nursing education and practice.
Lead or participate in quality improvement, EBP, and research initiatives.
Travel to UH entities for education delivery and program oversight (hybrid schedule).
