Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking an experienced OB RN Director to lead a team delivering exceptional care to mothers and newborns. The role involves guiding staff, ensuring high standards of care, and fostering patient satisfaction in a community setting.

Key responsibilities include coordinating OB care, addressing service delivery issues, guiding performance improvements, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license; Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• BLS-HCP certification required.
• 4 years in Labor and Delivery preferred.
• 2 years leadership experience in healthcare preferred.
• NRP, AWHONN-EFM, AWHONN-POEP, and STABLE certifications current or within 1 year.
• Annual influenza vaccination or declination required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee patient care in the OB department using the nursing process.
• Identify and address issues affecting clinical service delivery.
• Conduct performance improvement studies and support related initiatives.
• Act as a resource for staff and external contacts regarding patient care and standards.
• Ensure departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and healthcare standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, educational activities, and performance evaluations.
• Provide and coordinate educational needs for patients, specifically in Labor and Delivery.
