Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking an experienced OB RN Director in Michigan to lead a dedicated team delivering exceptional care to mothers and newborns. You will mentor staff, oversee scheduling, and drive quality improvements in Labor & Delivery.

In this role, you will ensure compliance with healthcare standards, coordinate care, and provide staff and patient education. Travel is not required, visa sponsorship is not offered, and you will report in-person to the Hancock Township location.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license.
• BLS-HCP certification.
• NRP, AWHONN-EFM, AWHONN-POEP, STABLE certifications current or within 1 year.
• 4 years of Labor and Delivery experience (preferred).
• 2 years of healthcare leadership experience (preferred).
• influenza vaccination or declination required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee patient care in the OB department using the nursing process.
• Identify and address issues affecting clinical service delivery.
• Conduct performance improvement studies and support initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for staff and external contacts on patient care and standards.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, legal, and healthcare standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, educational activities, and evaluations.
• Provide education for patients in Labor and Delivery.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
