Job summary

BB Imaging in Ocala, FL is seeking an experienced MFM/OB Sonographer for full-time or PRN shifts. You will travel to clinic sites within the assigned area, perform ultrasound procedures, review charts, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality OB/MFM imaging.

Candidates should have RDMS with OB/GYN, 2+ years high-risk OB/MFM experience, and a strong knowledge of anatomy and ultrasound physics.

• RDMS with OB/GYN specialty.
• 2+ years high-risk OB/MFM experience.
• Knowledge of OB/GYN anatomy and terminology.
• Knowledge of ultrasound physics.
• HIPAA compliance with EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Calm under pressure and compassionate.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, labs, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies.
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
• Provide visual guidance to complete amniocentesis.
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines.

What You'll Do

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

Is This You?

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• 2+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

Do You Score Any Bonus Points?

• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
