Job summary

BB Imaging is seeking an experienced MFM Sonographer to join a sonographer-led team delivering high-quality OB/MFM ultrasound care. The role supports full-time opportunities with flexible PRN shifts, and relocation assistance to fit your schedule and goals.

You will work alongside physician partners and clinical teams, performing procedures, reviewing charts, and contributing to comprehensive patient care while pursuing CME opportunities and professional development.

Qualifications

• RDMS with OB/GYN specialty required or proven credentials.
• Solid understanding of anatomy, terminology and ultrasound physics.
• Proven ability to communicate findings clearly to physicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms for fetal anomalies.
• Communicate findings to physician.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
• Provide guidance during amniocentesis procedures.
• Report machine errors or needs to maintain image quality.
• Restock rooms with supplies and support CME learning.

What You'll Do

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs

Is This You?

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

Do You Score Any Bonus Points?

• 1+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study

RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.

This is an hourly non-exempt opportunity.
