Job summary

BB Imaging in Spokane, WA, seeks an experienced MFM Sonographer to deliver high-quality ultrasound imaging across multiple clinic sites. You will work with physician partners, review charts, and help document findings with care and accuracy.

The role requires RDMS with OB/GYN specialty, 1+ year high-risk OB/MFM experience, and strong communication under pressure. Travel within the region is expected as part of full-time coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty.
• 1+ year high-risk OB and/or MFM sonography experience.
• Knowledgeable of OB/GYN anatomy and ultrasound physics.
• HIPAA-compliant with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures across clinic sites.
• Travel to clinic sites within assigned area.
• Review patient charts and lab results to inform imaging.
• Create reports to assist physician documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms for fetal anomalies.
• Communicate findings to physicians.
• Assist training and mentoring new team members.
• Provide guidance for amniocentesis procedures.
• Report machine issues to maintain image quality.
• Restock rooms with supplies and participate in CMEs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

IS THIS YOU?

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• 1+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
