Job summary

BB Imaging, a diagnostic ultrasound leader in Texas, is seeking OB/MFM Sonographers to join our growing team. You will perform sonographic procedures, travel to Brownwood and San Angelo clinics, review patient history, and create reports to support physicians in delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with OB/GYN specialty.
• Knowledge of OB/GYN anatomy and medical terminology.
• HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to Brownwood and San Angelo clinic sites.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies.
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
• Provide visual guidance to complete amniocentesis.
• Communicate machine issues or needs to maintain equipment quality.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies.
• Pursue CMEs to expand knowledge and skills.
• Other duties assigned by managers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites in Brownwood and San Angelo
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

IS THIS YOU?

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• 1+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study

RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS:Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
