Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one month of hire.
• Requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Requires equivalency if presenting a foreign degree.
• Experience as Medical Assistant for this role.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient information.
• Call patients for next day appointments.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, medical records and patients for clinic visit and assist providers in patient exams and treatments.
• Assist with examination procedures.
• Perform general lab work.
• Administer injections and immunizations, and phlebotomy.
• Provide patient education and clerical support.
