Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an RN for an urgent Labor & Delivery night opening at Cherry County Hospital in Valentine, NE. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, requiring active RN licensure and certifications such as BLS and NRP. Ideal candidates should have experience in Labor & Delivery and the ability to float to Med-Surg and ER if necessary. Competitive pay ranging from $68 to $70 per hour is offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS Certification preferred/required.
• NRP Certification required.
• Labor & Delivery / OB nursing experience required.
• Experience with postpartum and newborn care preferred.
• Ability to float to Med-Surg and ER required.
• Critical access or rural hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and OB patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions during labor.
• Assist physicians during deliveries and OB procedures.
• Provide newborn assessments and patient education.
• Float to Med-Surg or ER as needed based on census.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Support patient safety and quality care standards.

• Schedule: Variable Nights
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours: 36 hrs/week guaranteed
• ASAP Start
• Floating required to Med-Surg and ER if needed

Pay

• $68 – $70 per hour
• Weekly Pay: $2,448 – $2,520/week

Required Credentials
