Job summary

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Must be board eligible for ARDMS.
• Must have Oregon Sonographer license or temporary license upon hire.
• Must have National Provider BLS - AHA.
• Within 6 months of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders using diverse ultrasound equipment.
• Considers individual patient needs, including age-related considerations, during imaging.

Education

Board eligible for ARDMS

Oregon Sonographer license (or temporary)

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire

NEW grads must obtain ARDMS within 6 months
