Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, Oregon is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for Per Diem/Day Shift. You will perform ultrasound examinations per physicians’ orders, using a range of ultrasound equipment while accounting for each patient’s age-related needs.

Required qualifications include ARDMS board eligibility and Oregon Sonographer licensure (or temporary license on hire), plus BLS. New grads must obtain ARDMS within 6 months; 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience,

Qualifications

• Board eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Oregon Sonographer license or temporary license required on hire.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• New graduates must be ARDMS-certified within 6 months of hire.
• New grads must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders using various ultrasound equipment.
• Takes into account individual patient's age-related needs during procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and privacy while conducting exams.

Education

ARDMS certification eligibility

Oregon Sonographer license or temporary license

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
