Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for certification (ARDMS).
• Oregon Sonographer license upon hire or temporary license.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Certification (ARDMS) within 6 months for new grads.
• New grads must obtain ARDMS within 6 months and OBMI temporary license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Uses diverse ultrasound equipment.
• Considers age-related and individual patient needs during exams.
