Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for per diem/day shift. You will perform ultrasound examinations per physician orders, using advanced equipment and tailoring care to patient age and needs.

Qualifications

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: ARDMS certification.
Upon hire: New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
Upon hire: New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of ultrasound equipment and considering patient needs.
