Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking an Ultrasound Tech to perform ultrasound examinations per physicians' orders, using a range of sophisticated equipment while accounting for each patient’s age-related needs.

This per diem, day-shift role emphasizes patient-focused care and safety; required certifications include ARDMS eligibility, Oregon licensure, and BLS, with ongoing certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary license.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New grads must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months.
• New grads must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Uses a variety of ultrasound equipment and adjusts for patient age-related needs.
• Contributes to accurate documentation and image submission per protocol.
