Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for certification at ARDMS.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing ultrasound equipment and considering individual patient needs.
• Advices and collaborates with physicians to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
• Maintains equipment and adheres to patient safety and infection control protocols.
