Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technician for per diem/day shift assignments in Hood River, OR. The role involves performing ultrasound exams per physicians' orders using advanced equipment while considering patient age-related needs.

The team supports patient-focused care within a culture of respect and collaboration. Qualifications include ARDMS eligibility, Oregon Sonographer licensing or temporary license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates: board eligible and ARDMS within 6 months.
• New graduates: OBMI temporary license and permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders using diverse ultrasound equipment.
• Consider individual patient needs, including age-related specifications, during imaging.
• Contribute to a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care and collaboration with Providence team.
