Job summary
Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for Per Diem/Day Shift. Performs ultrasound exams per physician orders using advanced equipment, while considering patient age-related needs.

Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from ARDMS.
- Upon hire: New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months.
- Upon hire: New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders.
- Utilizes a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment.
- Considers individual patient's special or age-related needs.
