Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from ARDMS.
• New grads must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New grads must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of ultrasound equipment, considering patient needs.
• Contributes to patient-focused, whole-person care and collaborates with Providence team.
