Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for per diem/day shift in Hood River, OR. The role performs ultrasound examinations per physicians’ orders, using advanced equipment and tailoring care to each patient’s age and needs.

Requirements include board eligibility for ARDMS, Oregon sonographer licensing, BLS certification, and ARDMS certification within 6 months. Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling within a patient-focused care culture.

Qualifications

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from ARDMS.
New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months.
New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders and uses sophisticated ultrasound equipment.
Considers individual patient's special or age-related needs during imaging.
