Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking an Ultrasound Tech to perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, using a variety of sophisticated equipment and tailoring imaging to each patient's age and needs. The role requires board eligibility for ARDMS, Oregon Sonographer licensure (or temporary), and current BLS.

New grads must obtain ARDMS certification within 6 months and OBMI temporary license with a path to permanent licensure.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Oregon Sonographer license or temporary license on hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association on hire.
• ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire.
• New grads must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months.
• New grads must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders using diverse equipment.
• Tailors imaging to patient age and specific needs.
• Maintains quality imaging and accurate documentation.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other staff to ensure patient care.
