Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for per diem day shifts. You will perform ultrasound examinations per physicians' orders, using a variety of equipment and adapting to each patient's needs.

Qualifications include ARDMS certification or eligibility, Oregon license (or temporary), BLS, and ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire; new grads must be eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer license or temporary.
• Within 6 months: ARDMS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Utilize a variety of ultrasound equipment.
• Adapt scanning approach to patient-specific needs.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedure.
