Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is hiring an Ultrasound Tech for per diem/day shift. You will perform ultrasound examinations, using advanced equipment and adapting to each patient’s needs to support physician orders.

Requirements include ARDMS eligibility, Oregon Sonographer licensure (or temporary), and BLS certification with ARDMS certification anticipated within 6 months. This role emphasizes patient-centered care within a supportive Providence team.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Utilizes sophisticated ultrasound equipment.
• Consider patient age-related needs during imaging.
