Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technician for per diem/day shift assignments in Hood River, OR. The role involves performing ultrasound exams per physician orders, using a range of ultrasound equipment, and addressing patient-specific needs.

Qualified candidates should have ARDMS certification or eligibility, Oregon registration, and BLS. New grads must obtain ARDMS certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from ARDMS.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, using ultrasound equipment, and considers patient needs.
