Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders using diverse ultrasound equipment.
• Accounts for individual patient needs and age-related considerations during exams.
• Collaborates with physicians and care team to ensure accurate, timely imaging results.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
